DRESHAK SECURITY SOLUTIONS

Established to execute a multi-million dollar running contract, the security division was founded soon after the need for specialized non-combat security forces was felt in Iraq and Afghanistan.

We screened, recruited and deployed over 14,800 security guards from Uganda, Macedonia and Bosnia to Iraq to provide security to 36 U.S. bases in Iraq. Dreshak steadily grew into the largest service provider of Third Country Nationals (TCNs) to private American Security companies. Services cover the entire range of activities, from recruitment, deployment, and management of the TCNs – including their payroll, transport, other logistics.
The company became a well known corporate entity in all the countries it operated from, and worked in close liaison with the respective governments. Not only did it change thousands of lives for the better, but won accolades from the governments of its host countries. The contract came to a satisfactory conclusion in 2011 when the U.S. pulled out of Iraq and handed over the bases to the Government of Iraq.

Abdul Rashid

Abdul Rashid joined the Dreshak Group in 2011 as a finance manager. Over the years, he has earned his position as the Chief Financial Officer of the company. He is a qualified cost and management accountant with more than 22 years of experience in the fields of auditing, taxation, financial reporting, and management consultancy. As the CFO, Abdul is responsible for ensuring that the management team makes well-informed decisions that prioritize financial sustainability and growth.

Mr. Fakhr Alam is the Vice Chairman of DP World for Pakistan and is also a well known personality in Pakistan. He brings a lot of value to the Group in view of his vast experience in marketing.

Sajjad Razvi

Sajjad Razvi is a highly experienced banking professional with a proven track record in the financial industry. He previously held the position of President at Citigroup Inc., based in New York, and later served as Managing Director at Samba Financial Group, one of the leading banks in Saudi Arabia. During his tenure at Samba, Razvi played a key role in achieving impressive financial results, even in the face of challenging global economic conditions. He was recognised for his effective management and strategic decision-making skills. After leaving Samba, Razvi joined R.J. Fleming & Co. as a Senior Managing Director. Currently, he serves as a Board Advisor at Codebase Technologies.

Imtiaz is the current Managing Director of the Dreshak Group, having joined in 2005 after completing his education at the University of New Mexico. Over the years, he has gained experience in various fields including security, hospitality, trading, real estate. In his role, he is responsible for overseeing the functioning of all areas of the organization, which includes human resources, trading, and hospitality.

Mumtaz Muslim

CEO & President

With over 50 years of experience in starting, developing, and managing successful business ventures, Mumtaz joined the family business in 1976. He diversified the company across various industries and geographies, leading the development of The Baron hotels in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as the development and successful exits of various group businesses. From 2012 to 2014, Mr. Mumtaz served as the President of the Pakistan Business Council in Dubai.
